Life is short, be kind, be the one.
This week sucked. I had such high plans for the month of Oct. I still do have those plans and it will not change. However, the start has not gone according to plan and I need to make adjustments. In the past, I would simply stop trying when things did not go my way, but I am getting better at letting it go and moving on.
I am going to try a new diet starting today. It is one I do often and I want to try it again for the month of October. It is the Slow Carb diet made famous by Tim Ferris in the 4-hour body.
Since I joined the gym 3 weeks ago, my wife and I have been going regularly. I am not sure we are seeing much of a difference weight wise, but things seem to be tightening up and I am starting to feel like I have a little more energy.

July and August have not been good months with regards to finance and health. To recount the last update, our furnace and A/C units gave out and we had to finance $8,000 to purchase units.
As the song goes: "and so I drank 1, it became 4 and when I fell on the floor I drank more." - The Smith's ... well, a week later and I am still drinking soda heavily.
