Because we are in debt, we have been looking for a side hustle. A neighbor we trust let us know that they have been doing direct sales for Kyani. I immediately closed out, because direct sales or network marketing is just not something I enjoy. My father used to have parties and sell things to family all the time and I think it soured me. What changed my mind was that my neighbor said they understand the reputation of direct sales and that it is not for everyone. That was it!
July and August have not been good months with regards to finance and health. To recount the last update, our furnace and A/C units gave out and we had to finance $8,000 to purchase units.
Over the last month I mentioned where I was at in my financial life; where I needed help, where I was not being healthy, where I was trying to improve.
I recently read a book that had some inspiration attached to it for me. The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, which can be found on Amazon.
Back in 2014, I tried to write a little e-book for amazon and called it "The Perfect Day." Reading it now, it was fairly simplistic, but a great learning experience for where I was at that time in my life. I have decided to put the copy on my sidebar under "Pages."
As the song goes: "and so I drank 1, it became 4 and when I fell on the floor I drank more." - The Smith's ... well, a week later and I am still drinking soda heavily.
A life of leisure and a life of laziness are two things. There will be sleeping enough in the grave.
The last 3 posts have been from my diary from 2014 when I quit my job. It is all I wrote on the matter and it showcased a great deal of my thinking at the beginning of this year and how desperate I had once again become.
