Been a Bit

I have been working hard to better my 5k time every Friday. I try to workout doing weights and a little running during the week and then on Friday I run a 5K on the treadmill. I got a little discouraged last week because my time was terrible and I kept getting shin splints when I ran. Still I continued on and these are my results:

It was a bit unusual for me this week. It was 10 pm and I had not been to the gym, so I decided to go. I have not been that late and there really wasn't anyone there. I have had the goal of running a 5k in 45 min on the treadmill and so far have not reached it. I decided to give it a go on Wed.

The Best Plans

This week sucked. I had such high plans for the month of Oct. I still do have those plans and it will not change. However, the start has not gone according to plan and I need to make adjustments. In the past, I would simply stop trying when things did not go my way, but I am getting better at letting it go and moving on.

My Summer of Being a Vegan

A few summers ago, I decided I did not want to continue with my current diet and decided to try the Vegan diet. Technically, the diet I found was a whole food plant based diet. I am not really sure if I kept a strict Vegan diet or if it was more vegetarian, but all the same it consisted of not eating meat or anything dairy related.
