Most Important Lesson in Finance

All the great things are simple.

Winston Churchill

I mentioned a few months ago that I had taken a class with my wife at our local church around finances and the lessons that I learned. I asked my wife what she thought was the most important lesson from that class. Here were her takeaways:

The most important lesson I learned was to pay the Lord first. 10% tithing right up front and do not look back.

Once that is complete, really pray to the Lord to direct you in how you manage the other 90%. By so doing you show your faith in Him and that you are willing to be a good steward of what He has given you.

Amazing the wisdom in such a short reply.
